Chelsia Allison, LPC-A
It is said that the relationship we have with ourselves is one of the most important relationships we will ever have. Chelsia Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is a firm believer in helping women of all ages discover authenticity, self-compassion, and move towards wholeness.
The Upstate has been her home since childhood. Advocacy for her community translated into work within the Nonprofit human services sector. The fundraising side of Nonprofits served as her first introduction to the incredible stories of resilience, healing, and empowerment of local women. Chelsia soon realized her desire to be in the room where the change happened, and to hold space for each of the individuals behind the stories.
Chelsia has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has experience working with clients who have experienced anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief, traumatic experiences, and those adjusting to new seasons of life.
Chelsia takes a client-centered approach, trusting that you are the expert on yourself. She is happy to partner with you on your journey towards healing, and offer whatever tools serve to empower you through the beautiful process.
On a sunny day, you can find Chelsia on a trail in the mountains somewhere, or on the way to find a good hotdog. On a cloudy day, you’ll find her in the corner seat of a cozy coffee shop having a conversation about nothing and everything with a dear friend.
If you’re ready to move towards wholeness, Chelsia would love to chat with you. She can be reached at callison@citycentercounseling.org or 864-326-3435 x 710
